A lovely embossed postcard for Christmas by H. Wessler, copyright 1909. The card has a message on the reverse side and a one cent postage stamp. It does not appear, however, to have been cancelled.
Ironstone Platter, 19th Century
The platter is decorated with blue polychrome and has images of cherry blossoms and pomegranates.
The platter has the registry mark of August 27, 1879 and is in good condition. There is very little wear to the glaze and there are just a few small chips at the edges, far fewer than expected for a platter of this age.
This is an original antique map entitled "Puglia Piana Terra di Barri Otrano etc." that was published in 1628 in Amsterdam from the Atlas Minor. The map is of the 'boot' of Italy filled with detail of mountains, rivers and cities, decorated with a strapwork title cartouche and a scale of miles flanked by sea monsters. Latin text on verso.

An original leaf from a German edition of Sebastian Munster's Cosmographia Universalis, mid to late 16th century. There is a woodblock print on each side, one with original colouring.
Munster, a highly educated mathematician, geographer and linguist, was one of the most influential mapmakers of the 16th century.
17 photographic postcards from the 1920s and 1930s of mountain resort areas in Europe. Four of the postcards have writing on them. They were written in German to someone in Germany and are dated 1934.
The postcards came out of an estate of a German Jewish family that emigrated to the United States in the 1930s. The 18th postcard is of a woman, I believe her to be a family member.
Henny Penny, McLoughlin Bros., Springfield, Massachusetts, 1931. No illustrator is named however, the illustrator might be Hildegard Lupprian. Though not stated, I believe this is a first edition. The book is clean inside, no marks at all. The cover shows wear. The pages of the book are stapled together but have come away from the cover.
This is a Victorian photo album with a celluloid front cover and a red velvet back cover.
There are openings for 24 4 by 5 and 8 2 by 3 1/4 photographs. Most of the openings for the photos are in good condition with just a few showing small tears. The pages for the larger photographs are, alternately decorative and plain. The album is 10 1/5 by 8 inches and is 2 1/2 inches thick.

This hand painted porcelain three footed bowl was made in Austria. The mark on the bottom is O E & G Royal Austria. That is the mark of the Oscar and Edgar Gutherz factory that was on all of their porcelain made during their factory's existence from 1899 to 1918.
The bowl is 7 inches wide at the widest point and is 2 1/2 inches tall.
